The Ritz Hotel
The Ritz is happy to introduce our new logo!
With this logo, The Ritz extends the history of the legendary Ice Cream brand: ‘Ritz’. For almost 70 years Ritz Ice cream was produced in our buildings until the factory went bankrupt in the late nineties.
‘Ritz’ was the brand name of the Ice Cream and is well known throughout the Caribbean.
It is, of course, also a great name for a hotel, especially when the hotel is situated in the former Ice Cream factory.
The new logo is an homage to the old Ritz logo.
The crown is an integral part of the original logo, but special attention should be given to the small caption under the logo: Hmmm…Dushi!
The Hmmm is self explanatory, but ‘Dushi’ needs further clarification.
In the local language of Papiamento, it means: Nice, sweet, delicious.
The word is also widely used to address a girl or lady in a nice casual way.
! Comes from the old Ritz logo, and we keep it in memory of the Ritz Ice Cream legacy!
This week The Ritz introduced movie nights!
On a very large screen at the pool you can enjoy movies and music shows.
Drinks and snacks readily available from our pool bar.
Last night we showed Les Intouchables followed by Micheal Buble in concert!.
See you soon at The Ritz Pool side Theatre!
In the pre-opening for the new building, The Ritz opens a massive Jacuzzi!
The round pool water Jacuzzi can seat 10 people and overlooks the pool area.
Staying in a typical Curacao Cottage is now available for Ritz guests.
The complete new room type, the Cottage offers a stand alone mini house in sumptuous 35m2 space. The rooms all have luxurious colonial furniture and of course the kitchenette.
